CHEYENNE, Wyoming (May 12, 2023) – Steel tubing manufacturer, Searing Industries, located in the Cheyenne Logistics Hub will celebrate the completion of a third expansion with a ribbon cutting on June 13, 2023. The expansion will add 80,000 square feet to the facility.
“Wyoming has proven to be an exceptional location for Searing,” said Lee Searing, President of Searing Industries. “We look forward to our continued growth in Cheyenne and serving our clients from the Cowboy State.”
This growth will allow additional production of welded steel tubing, with its third state of the art tube mill and second steel coil slitter. Once operational, the facility will employ approximately 10 people, with additional employees being hired as production increases. Along with its extensive growth and continued job creation, Searing Industries has addressed the housing crunch by building 16 high-end apartments for their employees, and their families.
In 2013 Cheyenne LEADS partnered with Granite Peak in creating a package to assist Searing Industries with its expansion to Wyoming and continue to assist the company with its current expansion efforts. “Cheyenne LEADS is grateful for the Searing family’s continued investment in Cheyenne,” says Betsey Hale, CEO of Cheyenne LEADS. “Cheyenne if fortunate to be home to this important primary employer.”
The ribbon cutting will take place at Searing Industries, 5310 Clear Creek Parkway, Cheyenne, Wyoming at 2:00 pm. The event is open to the public.
