For nearly 40 years, Cheyenne LEADS has invested in the future of Cheyenne and Laramie County through strategic economic development, workforce initiatives, and community growth.
Through the first two Progress & Prosperity campaigns, LEADS helped develop thriving business parks that created more than 3,000 primary jobs and attracted over 22 globally recognized companies—including Lowe’s, Magpul, EagleClaw, and Microsoft—to our region.
Today, “Progress & Prosperity 3: The Next Frontier” represents a new opportunity to build on that momentum and position Cheyenne for continued success for generations to come.
This mixed-use destination honors the long-standing legacy of the Hitching Post Inn, once a central gathering place for community and conservation, welcoming people from across the country. Spanning 415 acres, this community hub will feature hotels, a convention center, breweries and bars, restaurants and cafes, lifestyle retail, and even an indoor equine facility.
