Sierra Trading Post Expands in the Cheyenne Business Parkway
CHEYENNE, WYO (May 1, 2015) – Sierra Trading Post, located in the Cheyenne Business Parkway east of Cheyenne, broke ground this week on an expansion of its fulfillment center.
“This fulfillment center addition will help us better serve shoppers in Cheyenne, of course, our online customers and the other states we’re present in,” explained Juliette Rule, public relations associate for Sierra Trading Post. “For us, it’s all about providing customers with exceptional value, whether they purchase home goods, shoes or kayaks from us.”
This project will expand the fulfillment center’s footprint by 350,000 square feet, effectively doubling the capacity of the current structure. Its anticipated completion date is fall 2016.
Sierra Trading Post has been part of the Cheyenne community since moving its headquarters to Campstool Road in 1992. In that time, the company has undergone a number of expansions to grow the business and more efficiently process orders as well as meet the needs of its ever-growing customer base. Sierra Trading Post is headquartered in Cheyenne, where it employs more than 700 people and more than 1,200 during peak season. The brand has retail stores in Wyoming, Idaho, Nevada and, as of last fall, Colorado.

This is the latest and largest of multiple expansions since they moved here in 1992.”
