Annual Membership Meeting & Banquet on Friday, April 17, 2015
CHEYENNE, Wyoming (March 27, 2015) – Cheyenne LEADS is pleased to announce Tony DeLisis with Avalanche Consulting will be the special guest speaker at its 28th Annual Membership Meeting & Banquet, to be held Friday, April 19, 2015 at the Holiday Inn in Cheyenne. No-host cocktails start at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Tony focuses on project economic management, research, client support, workforce and economic development. His specialty is in helping communities build on their competitive strengths to create jobs and improve their quality of life.

Most recently, he served as project manager on a workforce development strategy for Cheyenne, Wyoming and a target industry strategy for the City of Longmont, CO. In addition, Tony has provided research for extensive university asset mapping in Gainesville, Florida and assisted in the development of strategic economic development plans for Provo, Utah; Miami-Dade County, Florida; Bastrop, Texas; Northeast Florida (including Jacksonville); Charlotte, North Carolina; Brownwood, Texas; the Upstate Alliance of South Carolina; and numerous other projects.

In addition to DeLisi’s presentation, agenda items of the Membership Meeting include the Treasurer’s Report, recognition of outgoing board members and election of three new board members. Outgoing board members to be recognized for their service are Phil Van Horn, President of Align, Pat Higgins, CEO of Orrison Distributing and Kim Lovett with the State of Wyoming. The Nominating Committee reviewed over 20 excellent candidates for the vacant elected positions and have nominated Jim Creel, Vice President of Finance with Taco Johns International; Robert Jensen with RJBC, LLC and Mona Pearl, Executive Consultant and Trainer with Align.

Reservations are being accepted now – Corporate tables of eight are available for $625 and Individual seating is available for $60 each. Corporate sponsorships are also available for $1000 for companies interested in making an additional contribution. Reservations will be accepted through April 3, 2015 or until tables are full. Cancelations requested after April 3, 2015 will be non-refundable.
