2018 Cheyenne Leads Annual Membership Meeting & Banquet – April 27

CHEYENNE, Wyoming (March 30, 2018) Cheyenne LEADS is pleased to announce Caitlin Long will be the special guest speaker at this year’s Annual Membership Meeting & Banquet to be held Friday, April 27, 2018 at Little America in Cheyenne.  No-host cocktails start at 6:00 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

 

Caitlin Long is a 22-year Wall Street veteran who has been active in bitcoin since 2012. Born and raised in Laramie and a long-time volunteer on UW boards, she is a co-founder of the Wyoming Blockchain Coalition and helped drive its trail-blazing 2018 blockchain legislation.

 

From 2016-2018 she was chairman and president of Symbiont, an enterprise blockchain company. Caitlin ran Morgan Stanley’s pension business (2007-2016), held senior roles at Credit Suisse (1997-2007) and began her career at Salomon Brothers (1994-1997).

 

MarketsMedia awarded Caitlin its 2016 Women in Finance Award for Excellence in Blockchain, and Institutional Investor named Caitlin to its list of the most influential people in pensions in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She is a graduate of Harvard Law School (JD, 1994), the Kennedy School of Government (MPP, 1994) and the University of Wyoming (BA, 1990).

 

In addition to Long’s presentation, recognition of outgoing board members and election of three new board members will be part of the program. Outgoing board members to be recognized for their service are Jim Creel, Taco John’s International; Bob Jensen, Holland and Hart; and individual member Mona Pearl.

 

Reservations are being accepted now – Corporate tables of eight are available for $675 and Individual seating is available for $70 each. Corporate sponsorships are also available for $1000 for companies interested in making an additional contribution. Reservations will be accepted through April 13, 2019.
