The Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Old West Museum is a nonprofit museum dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage of the American West as experienced through the celebration of Cheyenne Frontier Days™. Founded in 1978, the museum brings the history of Cheyenne, rodeo, and western culture to life through art, artifacts, exhibits, educational programming, and special events.
Located near Frontier Park in Cheyenne, the museum serves residents and visitors with year-round opportunities to explore western history and the stories that shaped the community. Through exhibits, the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ Hall of Fame, the Western Art Show and Sale, and community-focused programming, the Old West Museum continues to celebrate and preserve Cheyenne’s western legacy.
