Burns Insurance Agency, Inc. (BIA) was originally incorporated in the State of Wyoming in 1971 and is currently licensed in 15 western states including Montana and Nevada. Mark W. Anderson purchased the $400,000 agency in 1982 and in 1989 Burns Insurance implemented their expansion plan into other Wyoming communities and Western states. This small business has now grown to over $48,000,000 in written premium.
Burns Insurance writes, sells and services many lines of insurance – including commercial, business, life/health, homeowners, auto and umbrella/excess Insurance. In addition, Burns Insurance offers farm/ranch, crop and rangeland insurance for our agricultural communities. With Burns Insurance providing a support network of over 100 insurance companies, clients greatly benefit by receiving the ultimate coverage for a quality price.
