A summary of LEADS success since its inception in 1986 includes more than 45 new companies recruited and 3,500 new jobs created. The annual payroll from these companies is $82 million, with a capital investment of over $256 million.
The 917-acre Cheyenne Business Parkway, which is owned by LEADS, currently has 26 sites (318 acres) available. 16 companies, accounting for over 2,180 jobs, currently reside in the Parkway.
The second business park owned by LEADS, the 620-acre North Range Business Park, houses Wal-Mart's state of the art food distribution facility and is preparing to house the National Center for Atmospheric Research's (NCAR) super computing center.
